Driven by the 4R36 just like the latest SRP777 and SRP775, There is really no issue with this not telling you the correct time.

As attractive as the SRP777 and SRP775 may seem recently, they both pale in comparison to the Seiko Padi. The metallic blue dial with the PADI logo makes it so much more pleasing to check the current time on your wrist. On top of that, they also made the minute hand lined with red paint to match the red 5 minute markers. The pepsi bezel is the deciding factor for me because I always enjoyed that classic look.
